Mother's Day Pictures

So, we all know that I'm a slacker. However, in my defense.... my job is extremely stressful! But, you know what makes a stressful job better? My adorable children. They are so much fun and so cute. They help me to feel better all the time. The other day, we were in my office and Maddie was pushing Kenzie around on the swivel chair and was going around pretty quickly. Kenzie was giggling so hard, but then she turned to Maddie and said, "Ok, sissy.... My turn. You do it!" Kenzie got down off of the chair and had Maddie get up on it. Maddie was sitting in the chair, waiting for her turn and said to Kenzie, "Ok, little sis, now push me really fast and go around lots of times like I did." Kenzie nodded and said, "Ready sissy?" Maddie was so excited that she started to grip her chair and wince. Kenzie starts going as fast as she possibly can around the chair. (Bless her heart, it was not fast at all.) Maddie opened her eyes and looked over at me completely exasperated and said, "Actually..... this was not what I expected." How funny is that?! How old is she?! It was so funny I thought I was going to die laughing at her. I really love these kiddos!

So, right after this picture was taken, Kenzie dropped one of those blocks in her hand and bent down to pick it up, but fell off the front of the bench thing where they take your picture. I was so mad at the lady, because right before that she had told me I had to move away from the table because I was in front of the light. I told her that Kenzie was a jumper, so I didn't really trust her and she was like, "Don't worry. I do this all the time, we can watch her." Sadly, it wasn't Kenzie's choice to plummet off the front, but it was the saddest thing I had ever seen. Needless to say, we only got one picture of the Benz by herself this day.

How did my child get so big? I swear she is still a toddler in my eyes. She is going to Kindergarten in the Fall. Everytime I think of this, it makes me get teary eyed! Poor mom. :)

This picture just makes me laugh. Can't you tell how much fun they have together in it? They are such great buddies most of the time. I love to watch them play together. They are such good kids, I don't know what I would do without them.
