Paintin' the Pumpkins!

Painting pumpkins this year was really fun! We did this last week for family home evening and it was really fun to watch Mads go to town! What a fun time!

It takes great concentration to paint a pumpkin! Maddie actually got really creative and hers turned out really fun. (I will post pictures of the finished products with them in their costumes!)

This is what all the small pumpkins ended up looking like.... this gray nasty color that had been mixed! Nice.

Here's the Benzer with her pumpkin! We all put our handprints on it and wrote "The Archers" on it. She is so funny, she loved to smack it!

Last, but not least I have to blog about my adorable baby! She is going to be 9 months old tomorrow!! Weird! She does this thing where she pulls her arms up in the air and waits for you to say, "So big!" and then she drop her arms and give you a really adorable shy smile! She is hilarious. I can't believe she is this old already. It seems like just yesterday that I decided to stay home with my girls and it's almost been a whole year. Weird! Gotta love these adorable chicks!

Friends and The Treehouse

We are so lucky to have so many fun friends to hang out with that have kids Maddie and Kenzie's ages! My friends from high school, Sara and Brooke, were reunited with me finally! And, then my neighbor friend Bonnie and her little boy Haken are so fun to hang out with too! We went to lunch at Costa Vida and then to the Treehouse Museum and it was SO much fun! Brooke has a little girl, Lexi, who is just a couple of months younger than Maddie and a little boy, Jaxen, who is a couple months younger than Kenzie! You'd think we planned this! We have so much fun, thanks for playing with us, guys!

5 YEARS!

So, I know this might sound crazy, but I feel like I just got married. Even though I have two children, one of which is 3 years old.... but, I really do feel like it was just yesterday or maybe even a year ago. Today is Dave and I's anniversary and I am so happy I married that crazy guy! We have so much fun together!

In 5 years, we have:
Moved 5 times
Bought a home
Had 2 beautiful daughters
and Dave has graduated from college.

It's been so much fun, I love you sweetie! You do so much for us! Love you!

On the 3rd of October, we went and picked pumpkins with my family. It was fun to watch Maddie's little personality as she tried to pick out a pumpkin. I must say that I am proud she doesn't discriminate between pumpkins, they were all wonderful and she didn't care which one she took home! :) Poor Kenz had a really bad cold though, so she was pretty sad during the whole process. But, here are the bambinos with Carter, Kamdyn and Kaden. Thanks Ma and Pa for taking us and getting the pumpkins!
