Maddie, don't crawl in that dress... Maddie!

This is Maddie crawling in her beautiful dress at Heather's wedding. I was so mad, because all she wanted to do was crawl and get it dirty. She does not listen lately though, so I shouldn't be surprised that she just kept crawling!

What a cutie......

I had to just post a few of my favorite pictures from when Maddie was a baby. I get in these moods of looking through her newborn pictures. She is so cute. I love the age she is at now, but I miss this stage too.

A New Blog

I know that I already have 2 blogs, but I have to preface this with the fact that this one is for just my family and the other one is for just my photography. So, therefore.... I have one I just created called "Krissy's Kommentary" and yes I know that commentary is spelled with a c, but I was trying to be cute, okay?! I saw that my friend Taylee had one and I thought it was a good idea because I often want to put my opinion on here, but then I realized that it's just my opinion and not Dave's or Maddie's (obviously not hers!). So, here is the link to my own blog: Krissy's Kommentary. Please come and visit!

In The Beginning.....

MyHeritage: Family trees - Genealogy - Celebrities - Collage - Morph
So, here is who Maddie looked more like in the beginning. It is equal, I guess. I thought she would look more like her Daddy at first. Then...

And Now.....

MyHeritage: Look-alike Meter - Family history - Free family tree
She is starting to look more like her Momma! Poor girl! :) Ha ha ha.... I'm just kidding, she's so sweet. I would definitely take it as a compliment if people say I look like this cute girl!

FINALLY!

We went to Heather's reception last Saturday and it was SO beatiful. She was a gorgeous bride. She had her reception at Le Jardin in Sandy and it was the COOLEST place. It was a greenhouse, which sounds interesting, but it seriously was THE most beautiful reception center I have ever seen. Maddie was so exhausted the entire reception, this is at the very end when Maddie FINALLY fell asleep. You can see the relief on Dave's face!

Here is the whole Archer clan! FINALLY! :) It has taken us a long time to get a family picture with all of us in it. So, this one will last until James or Jeff gets married or someone has another kid! :)

This is for all those people who say that Maddie looks just like me. Look at this picture! They are so much alike! What cuties!

Silly girl was playing peak-a-boo with Dadda and I actually got a second to snap a picture of her sweet face!

Maddie loved the fountains at the reception center. Her and Cameron kept sneaking off to stick their fingers in them...

AHH!

Okay, so this weekend we were at Dave's parents house and I found all of these pictures on their computer of Maddie from when she was little that I didn't have. So, here is one of them. I will have to get more of them up soon!

A New Adventure!

So, I have found a new love and adventure that has consumed me once again! (Dave is sick of my little adventures, but he's getting used to it I think!) I have started doing High School Theatre Photography. I took pictures of Brighton High School's play and did a poster for it. I have absolutely loved meshing the two obsessions of mine into one! I love LoVe LOVE theatre and love photography just as much! So, here is my poster that I made for Brighton. Since this is too risky to put up on my website without a copyright, it has a "sample" stamp put on it, so ignore that and just look at the rest! :)

So, this weekend was so wonderful! We got to go and see "Uncle Jess" (Uncle Jeff, Dave's brother) and also say goodbye to the single "Aunt Crazy" (Heather!). Jeff got home from his mission in San Jose, California on Wednesday and we went up to see him and hang out. It was so fun to see Jeff and be able to hear his stories and see how much he has grown up!! It was so fun. Then this weekend, I took Heather's bridal pictures, which was a lot of fun too. She is a BEAUTIFUL bride! If you'd like to see the Hottie McHot-Hot, check out her pictures here. We went and watched Iron Man with Dave's whole family. It was interesting because we took up almost an entire row on the huge theater at the Jordan Commons Megaplex! After James and Jeff get married, the 2 seats that we needed will be filled and we WILL take up a whole row! It was a great movie, from what I saw (I was out the 2nd half.) Also, we had fun just hanging out in the beautiful weather outside with the Archer clan. Maddie loved hanging out with "Aunt Crazy" and "Uncle Jess"! Heather gets married this weekend, so check back for pictures later!

Oh goodness!

Okay, so I love this little girl... we all know that, right? This means that I can vent about her being crazy now, right?!! Dave had a final to finish for this semester (yay!!), so I took Maddie with me to go and do a photoshoot of some really ADORABLE kids (see my photography blog!). So, since there were kids and I knew that she liked these kids a lot, it would probably be fine to take her to the park and let her play while I took pictures (thanks for letting me do them, Alison). Well... little did I know that Maddie would want to be in the pictures with the kids and get really ticked when I wouldn't let her. Wouldn't that be funny, having a random kid in the picture?!! Anyway, so she threw quite a few tantrums. While the kids were changing their clothes, I took the opportunity to snap this very serene picture of my girl to remind myself how much I love her and it worked, she is an angel...... most of the time!

PHOTOGRAPHY!

So, I'm sure most of you are going to already know all of this already, but I just have to say how much I LOVE photography! It is my favorite thing! I love getting behind the camera and making things beautiful and angling the camera so that you can't see all the imperfections. I love evoking emotions through people with the camera and capturing the artistic expression of people who claim that they are "not photogenic". I really enjoy it and hope to continue doing it forever! Check out my website here.
