Easter Event Pictures

I had won a certificate for a free sitting off of a blog that I love to follow to get ideas and I was excited because they bring in real life bunnies! Well, we're going to start off with the sad pictures first that were at the end! Kenzie was so done about halfway through her shoot. (Poor baby was sick this week and me being a bad mom made her get pictures anyway. Serves me right, huh?) Anyway, so it was Photo by Emilie's Easter Event and I brought the girls in their Easter dresses and was really excited. But when Kenzie got mad at the end, they wanted me to jump in and see if I held her if she'd be happy, but it didn't work! So, I'm glad they put this picture on my CD because it shows how much we love this Kenzer Benzer and how sad Maddie gets when she crys! Look at her trying to calm her down! :)

Look at Maddie's face! So sad for this poor Kenzie!

This is my favorite! She was being so difficult that I had to hold her hands to get her to be happy for a minute. I'm glad she loves me, but it sure makes things hard sometimes!

You can tell she was sick this week in this picture. She's still so cute, but I just felt bad for her!

She thought the carrot was so funny!

Here is my evidence of her wanting to pet (attack) the bunny. :)

IT'S A BUNNY, mom!

Bunnies like carrots, right?

She was in heaven, I tell ya.

I don't think she liked this bunny as much, but oh well.

SO CUTE! I love this one!

Maddie loved the white bunny they gave her in the basket! You can hardly tell it's a bunny though because it's so stinking fluffy!

Easter Morning

We did Easter on Saturday morning this year so we could focus on the spirit of Easter more on Sunday, it really worked out well. Here the girls are finding their baskets. I made them get their baths first since they got up so early so we could let Daddy sleep in. I don't think it worked as well as I had planned, since they are so noisy in the bath tub and were very excited. Oh well. It's the thought that counts! We had fun watching the two of them figure out what they got. Kenzie is really starting to get into holidays and it makes it SO much more fun!

Coloring Eggs

We forgot to color the eggs until Sunday morning, so we had our beautifully colored eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns while we watched conference!
Here is Maddie with one of her eggs while poor Kenzie had to just sit and watch. She grabs things so fast, I could just see the eggs smashed and the vinegar coloring all over. So, she watched and was perfectly happy, since she had Goldfish crackers that is.

Easter with the Archers!

It was funny that when we did this, it was the end of March and it was warmer than the Saturday before Easter that we did the other hunts! Grandma Archer went crazy with the candy and the kids were so SO excited! We had a heaping bowl full after we emptied out the eggs, but it sure made it fun! The girls love to do fun stuff with their cousins and to see Grandma and Grandpa Archer! Thanks Bama and Papa!

Garland Easter Egg Hunt

Our poor chickies were so cold at the Easter hunt in Garland! We had to go there this year to be able to go with the hubs as he took pictures for the newspaper and for us.
My question is, why was Mother Nature so cruel as to put snow back on the ground? Maddie was so confused that it was Easter and not Christmas, oh man was that a discussion that was. I kept feeling bad for her as she would stick her hands into the snow to get the candy and eggs.... personally I wouldn't think it was worth it!

Easter with the Madsons!

We went over to my Mom and Dad's house on Saturday to go and have another wonderful Easter egg hunt! It was so cute. You can tell my mom is an elementary teacher, because she goes through all the preparation to make all the eggs marked with certain colors so that each kid gets the same amount of everything. She even made a little sheet that told them how to do the hunt and it had a sticker to show them what their color was.

Our kids are so spoiled with such great grandparents that make their holidays even more fun! Thanks Grandma and Grandpas Archer and Madson! We love you guys!
