Mischevious Maddie

She is so stinking cute in her new chair, but look at her face, doesn't she look mischevious?!

This picture is for those people who say that they don't recognize me each time they see me because I change my hair so often. (Mostly for a person who lives in St. George. Her name starts with a K and ends with a Risten.) :) I just cut my hair off and highlighted it again! I love it, it's fun to have a change!

Eww Gross!

I know this is disgusting, but I was taking pictures of Maddie and was trying to get a good one. Well, Dave showed her to do this so that I would get a nice picture of it. She puts her finger up her nose and starts laughing when you tell her that it's "eww gross". Isn't this great?! Thanks, Dave! :)

Princess Maddie Archer of Tremonton

Maddie decided to help me set up the chair that Grandma Archer bought for her. It is the cutest hot pink and light pink rocking chair that has a princess crown on it. It is so stinking cute! She loves LOVES loves it!

Daddy and Maddie

The two of them were out snuggling on the couch and it was one of those "ahh" moments. They didn't know I was watching for the first little bit, but they looked so adorable. Then, I pulled out the camera and they both said "CHEESE!" It's so amazing to me still to have a family that I love so much!

Maddie-gascar!

Here is me and the Maddie-gascar, as my brother's named her! She wanted to take a "cheese", so this is it. She was trying to help hold it, so that's why her head is kind of cut out... Oh well!

Naughty and Nice

Here is a picture of Nate and Heather at Heather's Naughty and Nice shower that we threw for her on the day before Easter. It was so much fun! We did a Naughty and Nice inspired menu with the Naughty side consisting of Sweet Pork on Rolls, strawberries dipped in chocolate, devil's food cake, and pepsi. The Nice side had chicken salad on rolls, fruit salad, angel's food cake, and lemonade. It was so much fun and I loved seeing Heather get her presents! Congrats Heather! I love you!

Eggs or Apples?!

Maddie calls eggs apples. So, this last week that is what we worked on, calling them eggs. She eventually got it as "ecks". She is so much fun!

FISHY!

Many of you probably don't know that we have a fishy at our house and that his name is "deedy". That was what Maddie used to call him, so even though she can say fishy now, that is still his name. Maddie loves to sit on the counter and watch him swim. His tank looks dirty, because you can see the counter through the water, but I promise it's not! :)

WDW, Here We Come!

WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!
It will be almost 4 years since the last time we went to Disney World, and we get to go again this year! Dave's parents gave us a trip for our wedding present (and Mike and Julie's, since they were married the same year) and we get to go back with them again this year for our 4th year Anniversary! How fun is that?!! I am so so SO excited! We are going to take our little Princess and we are going to have a blast! It is not until September, so don't be looking for pictures just yet, but when we go, I will get those pix up ASAP! Here are a couple of pictures from our old trips so that you can see how much fun we had last time! The hotel on here is the Board Walk Villas that we are going to stay in this year!

SCI-FI!

Here is all of us at the Sci-Fi Cafe! It was such a fun restaurant! You eat inside cars that look like you are in a drive-in movie theatre! It was so cool because they were showing old previews for those crazy 50's sci-fi movies (hence the name, get it?!) It was so much fun!!

Princess Kristen and Prince Dave

Here is me and Dave with the CRAZY sleeping beauty! I don't mean that to be rude, but she really was! We were in Epcot at the French Pavillion and we saw her. I told Dave that she had always been my favorite princess and he said that I should get my picture with her. I thought it would be funny for old times sakes, so I went over to get my picture with her. I told her that I wanted a picture with her and that I had tried out at Disney to be a character at one point and how I thought it would be fun to work there. She turned to me with this goofy smile on her face and said, "What's your name?". I told her my name was Kristen and she said, "I would love to take a picture with you Princess Kristen! Who is this handsome young prince with you?!" I told her that it was Dave and she asked a guy passing by if he would take a picture of Princess Kristen and Prince Dave for us! I know they have to stay in character, but there were no children around, come on! :) It was one of our many funny Disney stories!

Family Pics

We went to St. George this last weekend for the Utah Press Association. Here is a picture of Dave, me, and Maddie at the banquet in St. George. I told my dad that everyone else needed theirs taken too, so here is my side of the family most recently. Sorry there's no Jayson in them. He's a party poop, what can I say? :) Love you, Jay! Dave did really well, he got 2nd place for Best News Series, but most importantly he got 1st place for Best Sports Column for his 2nd year in a row! Way to go Dave! He is going to do really well pursuing Sports Writing after he gets his degree in December. I am very proud!

Poor Kassi had to come to the banquet alone, because Jayson had to go and play ball over the weekend. I told her that I would take a picture of her and photoshop Jayson in his jersey next to her, but she didn't go for it! :) I hurried and snapped this picture of Kassi during the banquet! She had to of been way bored, but we love you Kassi! Thanks for coming!!!
