Halloween Pictures

Here at my work we are doing Halloween pictures and it is so much fun! I love taking pictures of these little kids! Maddie is the "guinea pig" model that we used. She is such a trooper to sit and smile and entertain us adults! Her picture is displayed at the store. Also, one from when she was little, that I took a long time ago, is on our posters and flyers. The other thing is that we are putting pictures of her in our window for a fall display. It's a giant scrapbook page that says, "Thankful for You" with a picture from her fall photoshoot. Here is the one that will be in the window.

Fall Pictures of the Princess!

So, here are some more pictures of Maddie from our fall photoshoot. I had so much fun with her! She thought it was a blast to cross her feet and put her hands in her pockets! She is getting so so BIG! I can't believe it. My little baby is growing up, good thing I'm getting another one I guess, huh?!

Say Cheese!

Maddie cracks me up! I think I might have taken way too many pictures of her....don't say anything!!! I told her to smile, while she was sitting there indian style. She swings her legs to the side and then poses her hands just so and grins all big! So, I know she looks adorable, but it's just funny that I don't even have to pose her anymore! WOW! Here is another cheesy picture of Maddie. I thought it was time for us to get another Momma Maddie picture. She always tells me that she wants a "Momma Maddie Day"! Since I only work 3 days a week now, she thinks it's pretty awesome when we get to have one of those days! I do too though!

Camer's Birthday!

Maddie's cousin, Cameron, had his 3rd birthday party forever ago (September 12th) and I had my camera there so I took some pictures, but my camera broke mid-picture! So, I had to send in my camera to the Canon Factory Repair Center, which I just got it back a couple of days ago. So, here are some pictures even though they are late!

6 Unspectacular Quirks

So, Melissa tagged me to do this and I don't know if people really want to know this stuff about me! I am one quirky chick, I swear! So, here goes....

1. I have to deep clean my bathtub everytime I want to take a bath. Even if I just cleaned it the day before, I have to scrub it down to take a bath. It's not that I think that my family is dirty or gross or anything, but it just bugs me not to. (Side note: Dave found a mouse in my bathtub this morning, so needless to say, it got triple deep cleaned along with the rest of my bathroom as well as everything in my house will.)
2. When I eat M&M's I have to eat them in the color groups. That means I have to dump out the whole package and sort by colors. Then, I proceed to eat them in doubles until there is an odd amount left, but only then can I eat them singly. This is why I guess I just shouldn't eat M&M's anymore. Too much of a headache...... :)
3. I have to wear jewelry every day. Besides my wedding ring and my right hand ring, I have to wear jewelry. If I forget, it feels like I have walked out missing something. It's really weird. Obsession, maybe. I know.
4. I can't let Maddie leave the house without her hair done really cute and a bow or some sort of cute thing in her hair. I know this is dumb, because I don't care if other little girls don't have their hair done perfectly all the time. All I care about with other little girls is that they look like someone combed their hair that day. But, for some reason it really bugs me if hers doesn't look perfect. If we go out and her hair elastic breaks or if she messes up her hair and it's all bubbly out of her ponytail... it drives me nuts. I have been known to go and buy hair stuff right then and there to make it look good. Obsessive again.... I know.
5. I am one of those people that when I make my mind up about something, it has to be done right then. If I decide that I am going to go to the store and I don't have anything going, then I have to leave as soon as possible. This is a really annoying quirk for my husband, because he will say, "What's your rush?" and I will say, "You said we could go, so let's go. Now!" Really really bad and annoying. See, told you that you didn't want to know this stuff about me.
6. I want my house to be perfect all the time. I want it to look like a picture when you come over. This drives me nuts, because who that has a two year old and is pregnant can really make their house look picture perfect all the time?! Nobody. I have to keep telling myself that. If you call me and tell me you are coming over, I might have a panic attack, because I can't get it perfect fast enough. Another really annoying thing for my husband, I'm sure!

So, now that I have aired out all my dirty laundry and you all know how obsessive and weird I am.... I am going to tag: Becca, Taylee, Kassi, Kristen, and Mom.

My Kids!

I got tagged by Suzanne to do this tag on my kids and what I love about them!

Makenzie Lynette Archer:
Well, Makenzie is not born yet, but will be on January 29th! She is a very calm baby that has made me a lot more sick than my other pregnancy! She just doesn't move around as much as Maddie did, so I think she's calm anyway! They are doing another ultrasound on November 4th, just to make sure that she's really a Makenzie. The ultrasound was kind of hard to tell, so they will do another one just to set my mind at ease!

Madison Marie Archer:
Maddie turned 2 years old on July 8th. She is such an attention lover and a show off! Even when she is in the other room by herself, she is singing as loud as she can and then yell, "Mama, I singing!". She is very caring. If she hurts you and you say "ow" (which you have to say ow or else it's just fun to hit you because it's funny) then she will give you a big hug and say "Sorry Mama!". My favorite thing about Maddie is that at night we have a routine. We give 3 different kinds of kisses; eskimo, butterfly, and fishy (you make a fishy face and then kiss!). Then we say prayers and maybe read a book. Then, when we get her all tucked in... this is how it goes:

Me: I love you, Maddie!
Maddie: I love you, Mama.
Me: I love you more!
Maddie: No, I love you more!
Me: No way, Jose....
Maddie: No way Jose, I love you more!
Me: Good night.
Maddie: Good night Mama!

This is my favorite thing of the day. So so cute.

I love being a mom. I don't know why there are people out there that don't want to be a mom, I really don't understand. But, it's the best thing that could have happened to me. I know this is biased, but my kids are the best, so that's probably why being a mom is so great!

I tag: Laurel, Jaci, Melissa, Anbre, Kristen, Julie, and Mom (I'd like to see what you love about me!!!! Ha ha ha...)

Sleeping Angel!

I love this new website that my friend Melissa blogged about. It's called 5 Minutes for Mom. Here is my entry. She is such a sweet little chick! I love to watch her sleep! This contest is for a new bedroom set, which let's be honest, Maddie really needs! Here is the set I want her to have. It's called Lily Rose.

DISNEY WORLD!!

Okay, so I was slacking on this bad, but after you see how many pictures I put on here, you will know why! I had tried to do a slideshow, but the site I was doing it on went down, so guess what?! You get a TON of pictures to look at! Out of 560 pictures, I don't think it's too bad though! We had SUCH a blast and Maddie was so good! She fell asleep on the planes and she didn't cry once! She only cried for Captain Hook at the parks, but all the other characters, she ran up to! She is such a good girl! We are so lucky!

Here are a bunch of highlights from the Halloween aspect of Disney World! Any of you that know me know what a nut I am about Halloween and this just made it worse! I love Halloween so very very much! They had Villain songs playing while they did the Halloween fireworks show, they had an AMAZING parade, and Maddie got to dress up! It was so much fun! Thanks Bev and Scott for taking us!

Dave got picked for the Backlot Tour Stunt Show again! Dave, Julie, and I had done it 4 years ago, but of course I couldn't do it this time (pregnant belly and all), so he did it and he was hilarious! He got water shot all over him on the boat and they made it look like a Pearl Harbor kind of movie stunt scene. He was the stage crew!

Here is Maddie at one of our Character Meals. She loved eating and having the characters come to each table. It was so much fun! Here she is, messy face and all, with Pluto! Cute Minnie ears, huh?! Dave is a pushover and bought Makenzie some because you know...technically she was there too!

This is my FAVORITE picture from the whole experience! She loved seeing Cinderella or "sleepinyella" because she is going to be Cinderella for Halloween!

Here is Maddie and her favorite princess, Ariel. I loved the girl that played Ariel. She really acted the part and really took the time with each kid in character. I know I'm dumb to critique them, but I'm a theatre nut, so I do it without thinking!

Here is another picture from the Character Dining. She is kissing Goofy though. Super cute, huh?!!

Maddie LOVED the fan that sprayed water! We were in line for "Finding Nemo: The Musical" (which was awesome and Maddie LOVED), and she was attacking everyone with the fan!

Here is the little princess getting ready for our Halloween party that we got to go to! We went Tuesday night and then we also bought tickets to go back on Friday night because we LOVED it so much!

Here we are with Halloween Mickey and Halloween Maddie!

Here are me and Maddie getting swallowed by Bruce from Finding Nemo! OH NO!!

Here is the "FUNNY FACE" pose for Dave, Maddie, and Grandpa!

Yay! Maddie met Woody and Buzz! That was an exciting moment for her!

Here we are at Mom's Cafe or "50's Prime Time" as it is really called! It is way fun though because your waiter pretends like you are related and Dave got in trouble. He got in trouble for not washing his hands before dinner, putting his elbows on the table, and also keeping his hat on! Oh, it was way funny!

Here is Dave and Maddie at Animal Kingdom walking through this little nature walk trail. It was so fun to see all the animals.

Dave's parents are so funny! We had such a blast in Disney World with them! I love this picture because they are all so CRAZY!!

Maddie loved Minnie! Here she is with Minnie at our Character Breakfast at the Beach Club Resort. We went there the first day we went and she loved LOVED it! Minnie, Goofy, and Chip & Dale were all there! It was great because we had the free dining plan and we could use one of our meals for a character meal! It was so worth it! We went to a character dinner another night with Goofy, Minnie, Chip & Dale, and Pluto. So, it was pretty much the same characters as before, but with Pluto. It was great though. I loved watching Maddie with them!

Maddie thought Dale was so funny teasing her with this pen! Silly Dale!

YAY IT'S MICKEY! She was so excited to see him in person, even though you can't tell by the picture! She really was excited, but she was mad that we kept making her turn away to smile!

Here is our cute little family with Goofy! Even Makenzie, as you can tell by my ever growing bump!

This is me with my beautiful smelling perfume from France in Epcot. It smells fabulous! Dave loves me...

Maddie is so tired!! Grandpa bought her this "Figment" doll from the ride she loved, so we thought we'd take a picture of her, but she looks about to fall asleep!

Here is Dave, Bev, and Maddie inside Mexico while we were waiting for our table. They are so funny!

Here is me and Maddie and one of the rides that I could go on! Maddie loved the "ephant" ride! She is so fun! She kept telling us how much she loved the "round-a-rounds" and how she was "SOO HAPPY"! I'm so glad we took her. She was a blast!

We were going to take a really goofy faced picture by the troll statue with our viking hats, but we were afraid that the people who worked there (since they were from Norway) would be offended, so we are just smiling!
