Prettiest Girl!

 


Here is the prettiest girl ever! I just love her! It's hilarious to see her big funny personality trapped in her little body! I love watching the fun stuff she learns each day.

So Big!

 

It's kind of funny that she talks so much and says all these words, because she isn't close to walking yet! Oh well, I guess! She can stand pretty well, as long as you're holding her.

My Duckies!

 

She was so happy I brought her duckies for her 1 year photoshoot at JC Penney. She was so funny with them. She'd point and quack and laugh at herself. Good thing she's funny, huh?!

Uh Oh!

 

I love this face. I don't know why she had this look on her face, but it cracks me up! It reminds me of her new trick lately. She throws something and then says "uh oh!". It doesn't matter if it was deliberate, just as long as it fell, right?!

Diva Princess

 

We have a problem on our hands called Little Miss Diva Princess. She has realized how spoiled she is and that she can pretty much get whatever she wants. The problem here, is that they took the props away from her because she kept throwing them. So, here is she is fake crying and throwing a tantrum. Great... :)

My Own Cake!

 

 

Maddie figured out that if you pull on the one on top of the cake, it comes off and you can throw it. What can you do, right?! Anyway, the poor photographer had the hardest time actually catching her with the items in her hands. Poor lady...

I AM ONE!

 

 

 


Well, almost! We got her pictures taken early, because it takes JC Penney a couple of weeks to print out the pictures. So, she will be one on July 8th! One month exactly! What a cute girl we have!

Swimming With The Ducks

We were SUPPOSED to give Maddie this pool for her first birthday, but daddy was a pushover! We went outside to barbeque, so we let Maddie play in it with her rubber ducks that she loves so much! She had a blast. I was sad that it was overcast, because she didn't get to play for long because we started to get paranoid. But, she did come inside and have a nice warm bath afterwards, which made her very happy!

Practice Makes Perfect!

 

Maddie likes to practice walking, but only if she did it on her own now!! :)

Bad Hair Day!!

 

 

 


Maddie finally has long enough hair, that I can pull it up in to pigtails and do all sorts of fun stuff with it! I love doing her hair and she actually is quite good while I do it! She doesn't cry or anything, good girl! This is one night after I had pulled them out and I had to laugh because she had horns! I love the bad hair days, they're so funny!

We went to the Willow Park Zoo in Logan one Saturday after Dave had to cover something for the paper in the morning. We had so much fun there. There were mostly birds, but lucky for us.... Maddie loves birds! She loved to see the ducks most of all. It was so funny to see her quacking at the real duckies instead of her rubber ones at home! She is really catching on when it comes to talking. She says Quack Quack, Mama, Dada, Ducka, and Dogga. She also dances, claps, shakes her head, and gives fives.

She still doesn't think that walking is up on her priority list. She did figure out how to crawl at the end of April, even though it's still a last resort. (She doesn't like it, but will do it only if she has to!) She loves to stand up and walk along the couches, so I'm hoping that she'll understand soon! It probably doesn't help her that her feet haven't grown in a couple of months! She is just growing right up. Weird to think she'll be a year old in a month! AHH!
