Maddie has a secret!!!

So, yes we are having another bambino! I think we had a moment of insanity for a second, but we are excited about it! (Being insane is exciting, in case you didn't know!) So, we weren't exactly planning it, but we weren't necessarily preventing it either. We had found out last year that I have all these weird problems in my crazy body on top of the Endometreosis, which is why we had started trying for Maddie earlier than expected, so they told me it might take me a couple of years to get pregnant again. So, I thought, "Well, why am I taking birth control that makes me miserable if I've got a natural inborn one, right?" Dave agreed. So, since then I haven't really worried about it. Needless to say, after the test.... I called my doctor and she said, "Hmm... this is earlier than expected." YEAH!!! No kidding... how about 1 year and 6 months earlier!!! I had tried for 8 months with Maddie, so it was EVEN SHORTER.... hmm... a couple years my butt! Anyway, I am very excited, I promise! I just wasn't expecting it so soon. But, I do have to say that Maddie is so so excited. She already yells at my belly and says, "I'm Madison. Your big sister...." She also sings Twinkle Twinkle Little Star alrady. I can't wait til the baby is big and actually moving in there. She's going to freak out! So, I have a due date of approximately February 18th, which is our nephew Carter's birthday. Yay for the same birthday....that'd be cool! Anyway, we are excited about this new addition. We'll keep you updated!

Sprinklers!

We decided to go outside and play in the sprinklers while Dave cleaned up our tree (see future post to hear about the stupid tree). It was so much fun to see her run through the sprinklers. She is hilarious! I love this little thing. I can't believe she is 2! Crazy!

Happy Birthday to Dave?

So, we've had a week of birthdays. It was Maddie's on the 8th, Dave's on the 12th, and mine on the 16th. I know, weird. We're all 4 days apart, lots of cake. So, anyway, we went to Dave's parents house for his birthday and they made us a DELICIOUS birthday lunch! YUMMY! So, we come home on Sunday right before church to find this tree looking all crazy like. So, we couldn't figure it out! WHAT HAPPENED??! There was no wind, no lightning, nothing..... hmmm... Well, we look in the middle of the tree and there's a freaking stick in the middle of the tree! Now, you might be saying, "Well, trees are wood. So what?" Well, it's like when you put a stake in the ground to help the tree grow, you know? Well, they left it in there! What the freak??! Who lets their tree grow around a stick? Anyway, so Dave got his regular birthday presents, but then he also got to buy a chainsaw to hack the tree down! YAY!

She loves the new Nemo movie. If you ask her what the daddy fishy says, she'll say, "Nemo? Where are you?"

Grandma and Grandpa "Dancin" (Not Madson... Dancin') got Maddie a wagon and some "potty pants" for her birthday. She loved Kaden and Tyson pulling her around in it. Grandma and Grandpa Archer bought her a really cute dolly that moves and talks... she LOVES it. Dave says it's scary, but I think it's cute. They also got her some really cute and NEEDED jammies.

Just a Mess...

I can't leave her alone in a room with food. Problem. This is right after church while we were changing our clothes.... hmmmm..... what a mess.

Ahh, Grandpa!

Maddie loves her Grandpa. He is so good to her. The one night, he took her so that Dave and I could play cards at the park with everyone else (we were getting eaten alive by misquitos, fun I know!). Kaden came up to us and said, "Dad is getting Maddie to sleep in his tent." We were so excited so that we could play!! Then later Kaden comes back. "Dad is snoring and Maddie is playing with a flashlight." We all laughed so hard! We were done with cards at that point, so we went and got her and he was only half asleep! He is so sweet to take her for us though, so that we could have fun. She could have played in that tent all night. My dad said they were pointing at bugs with the flashlight, which is what she thought was fun! What a good Grandpa!
