I Miss My Brothers!

 

Look at these crazy brothers of mine! They are so funny! This is two years ago at Christmas, but I found it today and it made me laugh so hard!! I miss them now that they live in St. George. Love you two!

 

The Princess and the Wolf!

 

On Thursday, we had a Pumpkin Walk Literacy Night at McKinley. I had to dress up as the Wolf dressed as Grandma for our Red Riding Hood presentation we were giving. That night, the kids could wear their costumes and trick or treat to each presentation. So, I decided that Maddie should wear her beautiful princess costume. She looks like she's trying to be a rockstar with her tongue hanging out, but that's okay!

So, with our 3 year anniversary back on the 8th of this month, I had decided to do some effects and stuff to our wedding pictures. It's so funny how time flies. Love ya, honey! Anyway, I thought I'd post a few of my favorites!

Kaden was so sad on our wedding day, because Dave was going to take me away to Provo for good. (Ha! We live in Tremonton now!) Anyway, I love this shot, I am glad that they captured the moment!

Dave went on a trip with the county sherriff for work around the very beautiful county and found some amazing things to take pictures of! Aren't these gorgeous pictures? This first picture of the rocks has holes in it from the weather. Isn't nature amazing?

Our Cutie Niece!

 

Amelia Archer was born on October 8th (Dave and I's anniversary. Easy to remember!). She is Dave's brother Mike and his wife Julie's baby. Isn't she a cutie?! Look at all that hair! Anyway, had to brag about her, she's cute!

Tag! I'm It!

So, I was tagged my friend Jaci Udy to do this Now and Then Survey. So, I'm 22 now we'll see what I can remember from then!!

1. When I was younger I tried to wear the whole Tremonton wrangler thing, but it didn't work out so well for me. So, I just stuck with my Guess jeans and whatever my mom bought me for shirts. I dressed very matchy matchy! Oh! I just remembered that when I was younger, I wore those boxer shorts with like pigs and sheep on them. Tell me someone else wore those too and I wasn't just crazy.... Anyone??

2. Now I have a very interesting closet! It's kind of a half professional and half jeans and t-shirts. i have to have dressy for school and then I have hang out clothes. I don't have a lot of in between!

3. When I was younger, my favorite t.v. shows were Kids Incorporated, Mickey Mouse Club, Party of Five (I was trying to be mature, but wasn't just yet....), Full House, Boy Meets World... Hmm... All the usual.

4. Now, well I love so many! I love America's Next Top Model, The Office (Oh how much I love this show, I can't say...), and So You Think You Can Dance? (Ask the high school kids I teach dance to how much I love this show!)

5. When I was younger, my favorite music was N Sync.... what more can I say, I went through a Hansen phase, Ace of Base was classic, MC Hammer fcr a while, Hootie and the Blowfish (Who I still love!)..... all the fads!

6. Now I really like mostly Broadway. I really love to listen to soundtracks of play. It's quite geeky, but I really enjoy the arts. I also love the bands from college that I used to listen to. Every now and again I pull out some Something Corporate, 311, Sugar Cult, or mixed CDs that I had made.

7. When I was younger, my favorite food was salad. I know I was a weird kid, but I went through this salad kick for a long time where I just loved to eat the stuff! I also always liked mac and cheese and some classic spaghetti o's. It's funny because some of the meals I used to hate it when my mom made them, I make now and love. Interesting how your tastes change, huh?

8. Now I love to eat cheesey potatoes! I love em! I also really like steak. Dave did this to me, because he is a great griller! You will all have to hit him up for a steak sometime. I am on a little bit of a soup and chili kick lately because of the weather though.

9. When I was little, I was afraid of strangers, spiders, sharks and fish (I don't know why. Seaworld was a nightmare until about 2 years ago!! :) )

10. Now I am really afraid of losing Maddie or Dave. Any family member would be awful. These things scare me like no other.

This last weekend, I was in Provo trying to kill time while Dave was in a Journalism training and I saw that the Utah Baby Fair was in town at the Provo library. I decided to stop in, since we had all day, and it was so much fun! I ended up entering Maddie into the Cutest Baby Contest. She not only won for her age group, but she won the WHOLE THING! She won the grand prize of a $299 portrait session, a free 8x10 of her entrance photo they took, and a gift certificate! YAY Maddie! I guess she might follow in my beauty pageant footsteps one day! If not, that's okay too!
