Don't worry, Kenzie! Maddie is over it now!

Here is Miss Maddie with Santa! It was so much fun to take her to see him! She loved it and was so excited to see the real Santa in person!

Goodbye House

Maddie was saying goodbye to our house. She was sad, but happy that an old lady named "Dora" bought it. She thought it was Dora the Explorer that is a Grandma now. We'll let her think that.....

Sold! We sold our house this month and it was so sad! We have had it up forever (about a year and a half), so we expected it to one day. I mean we moved and all, but for some reason I just didn't see it happening. But, it did and it is good, yet sad. We loved that house and we loved bringing our two baby girls home to that cute little pink carpeted house. I guess this means that we really have moved on from it.... SAD!

We took our girls in our house to Gardner's Village and then to the corn maze in West Jordan. I was lucky enough to have my family come to visit that day for UEA and so it was really fun to have them come as well!

Oh Grandpa!

Here is our little family... poor Kenzie didn't want to be involved at the moment.

Kenzie loves her Grandma!

Where did this goof come from?!! Here is us in the stable waiting for Maddie's horse to be ready to ride!

Maddie's horse riding adventure! Here she is.... Miss Maddie! She was so excited that we had horses out by us and kept asking me repeatedly that she be able to ride them. I told her that she could one day and finally I figured out a time to get with the lady in charge of the horses. She was so great to let us come! Maddie loved this horse, her name is Sassy. We walked around with her for a while. We switched to another horse named Diamante and I rode bare back with Maddie on that one. That was the weirdest experience, by the way! I had never ridden bare back and it was a little strange! I'm so glad Maddie finally got to go and loved it so much! Kenzie on the other hand thought it was fun to look, but didn't even want to think about touching them!

Here we are! I love this girl!

I spent all this time carving out a kitty pumpkin and when I finally got done slaving away on this stupid thing... she just wanted to go and see the dog that our neighbor had just bought! Oh man.

Here is me and Dave with our associates Celestie and Jen. Good times!

Dave had promised me that for Halloween he would dress up like anything I wanted to appease me and the ten teenage girls who wanted him to dress up.... which really I should have taken advantage of. Instead, however, I decided to pick something we had always said we were going to do. Dave was Axl Rose and I was Slash from Guns and Roses. (It was pretty funny to see people actually recognize who we were!) Kenzie was a beautiful fairy princess and Maddie was a kitty (please notice the meowing face in the picture). We went out to the drive in movie theater in Erda to go to the annual Trunk or Treat. We decorated our 15 passenger van and took all our girls. It was so much fun, I wish I could pictures up of our girls in our house! Too bad I guess. One girl was hilarious and wore all black, aviator glasses, and a beanie. She taped cereal boxes with knives coming out of them all over her body. ("Cereal" killer... get it! Ha ha ha, she has a good sense of humor!) Anyway, we had a good time!

Here is the whole Archer Fam! Kenzie was freezing cold from the rain, Dave's zebra spandex were falling off, Maddie was hopped up on sugar, and I was sick of people thinking I really was a man. So this is the end of our night!

Please don't judge me with how overdue this post is! I have been swamped, but it obviously isn't a good excuse any longer since it has now been months! We found out we got our new job at Alpine Academy in Erda, Ut on the 4th of July weekend. It is a treatment center/group home for troubled teenage girls. (Sounds scary, but I absolutely love my job and the girls I have the opportunity to work with!) We started working there at the end of July, but were only working full time and not moving into the apartment they provide in the house until September. During this time, we lived at Dave's parents house in their basement (thanks Bev and Scott!) and drove out to Erda almost every day. It was really hard during the training process and was really stressful on our kids. We ended up moving into our home on September 3rd and have been crazy busy ever since! Here are some pictures of us over the summer and throughout September and October. I hope this will help our family actually know what we are up to and that we are okay! Love you all!

Here we are at Dave's aunt Chris' annual pool party!

Maddie went camping for the first time this summer, even if it was just in the backyard.

Kenzie loves that there are 10 girls in our house now, so there are 10 times more of the birthday cakes.

Maddie started preschool! It was so weird to put her in preschool. She is getting too big!

They are the best of friends...... sometimes.

My little baby Kenzie is getting way to big for my taste.

On one of our days off, we went to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. It was so much fun!
