We're Ready!

So, I had finished baby Makenzie's room with some help from Dave and my mom a while ago, but here is a picture! I love this color that I put on the wall. It's also on the wall closest to the door. All we need to do is to put up the new blinds. But, I'm way excited because they are doing my c-section on Thursday morning at 7:30. We have to be there at 5:30 though! GUH! I'm not a morning person at all, so we decided for weather and for our own sanity that we would go over on Wednesday night. So, we're going to drop off Maddie at my mom and dad's Wednesday. Then we are going to go out to eat and then stay at a hotel and RELAX! So, I'm way excited! I think that would be fun to have a little date the night before as well. So, baby Makenzie only has 4 more days! She is almost here, good thing too because I have ABSOLUTELY NO MORE ROOM! :)

I told you so!

This is what happens when you tell your kid that they need to go and take a nap because they are being fiesty and they think that they're not tired. She does this all the time; I put her down and she thinks she knows better so gets up and plays. But, low and behold, she passes out with her toys on her floor. Silly girl.

5 Things I'm Addicted To!

I took my friend Alison's challenge of filling out what I'm addicted to, so since I'm pregnant; it's awful easy!

1-LAUNDRY!!!-- I know this is a weird thing to be addicted to and Dave laughs at me because I like to do it just so I can smell the detergent. It's mostly the Downy with Febreeze fabric softener that gets me. Oh and the other day I found these bottles of All Small and Mighty on sale for $1.00 EACH! Yes, I was in heaven. They only had 2 left, but I got them and was SUPER excited about them. Okay this kind of goes back to the laundry thing in a way too, but I'm addicted to the smell of Fabreeze. I've got the fabric one and the air one. I love it because it makes it smell so fresh in my house. LOVE IT!!

Okay, now that you think I'm crazy, next....

2-CHOCOLATE PUDDING-- I love fat free chocolate pudding. I eat one of those little snack packs almost every day. I love them. I dipped a banana in one the other day and ate that and it was delicious. That's weird too, but it was great.

3-Photography I know you all probably know this, but I am obsessed with photography. I'm obsessed with looking at other people's pictures, I'm obsessed with photoshopping my own, and looking at camera equipment online as well. LOVE it. Maddie is the poor girl who has to deal with it mostly... poor chick.

4-Checking Blogs I love this new gadget thing where you can do everyone's blogs as they are updated. Then, I can just click on who has updated recently instead of worrying about my Google Reader that wouldn't work on some people's blogs or click on all of them individually.

5-Playing with Maddie Since I have been at home, I have LOVED it! I have loved making her laugh and playing with her! I am so happy I can watch her as she learns new things and grows! I love hearing her little world of make believe as well. That's hilarious! Seriously, she has the funniest things to say. I don't know where she comes up with some of it, but she is getting too grown up!

Us lately!

Here are some recent pictures. This one was just yesterday. Maddie had fallen asleep for a nap really late and Dave was holding her. But, you know how when you hold a sleeping baby or kid, it makes you really tired??! Here are my sleeping cuties.

For New Year's we went to Dave's parents house. They have a lot of fun for New Year's. We had prime rib, crab (well I didn't, but they served it!), and shrimp. Maddie really liked the shrimp, I was surprised. We watched the Hulk on Scott's nice TV and his new surround sound system. Maddie actually stayed up until midnight and loved to make noise and yell outside. There were people setting off fireworks and that was pretty cool. I was kind of a downer though because as soon as it was done, I went to go to sleep. Staying up late is really hard when you are big and pregnant though!

Maddie got really spoiled this year. We are going to have to tell Santa to be more careful in the future! :) We loved finding all the toys we knew she would love though and we are such suckers for her cute little face. She asked for a "Dancin' Toy" and "Dolls" from Santa. I love to watch her with her dancing toy though. It's a little dance cam thing that you plug into your TV and they can watch themselves dance on the TV with the cartoons on it. It's so cute. She also got Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, Prince Phillip, Cinderella, Prince Charming and a bigger Belle doll that sings. She got some other stuff too like clothes, big legos, a barbie car, etc. But, I love little girl toys. They are so fun!!! We had a blast. I got a tripod, CD's for my photography, some awesome Aromatherapy stuff from Bath and Body Works that I'm obsessed with, a gift card for clothes after I have the baby, and my new awesome flat iron! I loved my stuff. Dave got an i-home, a case for his i-pod, some movies, a gym membership (he has been wanting one), and some clothes. We loved Christmas. She really understood the Santa thing and had so much fun saying that he came while she was asleep. It was great! We hope you had a good one too!

Christmas Eve!

This is kind of fuzzy, because I couldn't set it up very well. I needed my tripod the night before!

We had a great Christmas Eve. We went to my parents' house and ate and played games. We went home to do our jammies like we always do. Maddie got some very festive green ones and she also got some new puppy slippers and those were such a hit! She loved them. Me and Dave just got some boring jammies, but I was excited because I'm going to wear mine home from the hospital. I know that's not the most attractive outfit to come home wearing, but I don't really care, I just want to be comfy! After opening jammies, we watched a little clip about Jesus' birth so that Maddie could watch it. I love Christmas!
