IT"S A GIRL!!

Wow, so all of the people that said boy on the side lost too! Goodness. I was way off. I thought maybe twin boys at first, then I thought this morning that I had finally decided it was a boy. I went to Wal-Mart during Dave's class and found the cutest baby boy sleeper and I about bought it because I was pretty certain! But, she is definitely a chick! Here is a picture of the in between the legs shot. Gross I know, but I just thought I'd prove to you all that she is a girl! ;)

Here is her head at the top right and her hands by her face.

Here is a 3D ultrasound. This is kind of hard to tell what's going on, so I will explain. Her head is to the top right corner and she is side profiled. She's got her hands up to her face and her legs are bent and down at the bottom.

This is another one of the 3D ultrasounds. She had her hands on her face the whole time so we couldn't see her face. Here it looks to me like she is sucking her thumb. I hope she's not a thumb sucker!

Here is a side profile of our new baby! She was just sitting there all balled up. I can't believe I am going to have another girl! I never had a sister nor did my mom, so I'm afraid I won't know how to handle the sister fights! :) I am so very excited though! She will be very very loved by her older sister, even if they do fight! Maddie was excited to see the ultrasound because this one she looked like a baby instead of a "eww gross baby" like last time! Her name will be..... Drumroll please.........

Makenzie Lynette Archer

So, we were going to do the traditional spelling of Makenzie and do it McKenzie, but I don't like the capital thing. But, if I do it with the CK, then I have to do the capital K. So, we decided on the Mak way. Am I just weird? Anyway, I'm really excited.

ST. GEORGE!!!!!

So, Jayson and Kassi gave Maddie "da yedders" or these foam alphabet letters to play with in the tub for her birthday present while we were in St. George. Maddie is OBSESSED with them and gets so mad when we take her out of the tub. She throws little tantrums to play with the letters. Maddie had been eating peanut butter, so she has a nice little spot on her face.... Oh well.

Okay, I look really REALLY pregnant in this shirt, but I'm only like 4 1/2 almost 5 months.... I was anxious to wear my new maternity shirt though, so it's kind of loose! Oh well, we had fun!

We went to St. George for Memorial Weekend (I know I'm late!) to St. George to go and watch some plays, shop, oh and for Dave.... GOLF! Dave, his Dad, his brother Mike, and his Uncle went golfing on Friday and Saturday morning. Us girls (me, Maddie, Julie, and his Mom) were left to find our own entertainment, which was fine with us! We went shopping and out to lunch and just got to relax more than the guys did! Maddie and I went swimming on Saturday, but since it was starting to get a little cold because of the impending rain, we didn't get to go for very long. The rain came at a perfect time though because it really started to pour and we were nervous because we had tickets to Tuacahn's Les Miserables. Which, by the way, was great. Loved it! The good news was that it stopped right before we were supposed to leave so it was great weather for the play. On Friday night, for Big River, it was so hot that I was sweating through the whole thing. Gross, I know! So, it was good on Saturday, because it wasn't hot at all! Maddie got to go and hang out with Carter and Ryan and Kristen during the plays which was great. I also got to go to lunch with all of us girls plus my brothers and their wives and Carter. Maddie and Carter had so SOO much fun together. It was so cute to see them play. I forget how much they love each other and play so well. Cousins are great! Then, we drove home on Sunday during the Severe Thunderstorm Warnings to Box Elder County! AHHH! So so scary! But, all in all we had a great time in St. George... Thanks Bev and Scott for taking us! We had a blast!!

All Freaked Out!!

Okay, so I think pregnancy can make you a total nut sometimes.... (Dave you cannot comment on this!) Yesterday morning I had some spotting and I was really nervous about it. I had noticed that the baby isn't really moving and I got really freaked out about it. I found out that I've got a little infection that made me spot and that the baby is just fine. The heartbeat was great and strong, so I started BAWLING! The poor doctor was sitting there doing the doppler and I just started to lose it when I heard the heartbeat! Oh well, I'd rather be paranoid and have the baby be okay than not be and have something happen. So, I'm done being all freaked out now! :) YAY!!
