One Year Old Photo Shoot

 

I just had to post my favorite picture of my one year old! (That's still weird to say!) She is so girly and cute, it's so fun! She has this goofy grin now that gets pulled out when I turn the camera on her, but here is her real smile. She is laughing at Maddie! So cute. I had to pick some favorites for the newspaper's 1 year old announcement and Kids on Parade Competition and I think this one is the overall winner!

Makenzie is ONE!

 

My little baby is one year old! How is that so?! I'm so sad she is growing up so fast, but she is so much fun! We had a great weekend with her. Dave and I celebrated Valentine's Day early by going to an awesome B&B in Lava Hot Springs (pictures to come later!) on Thursday. We took the girls to my Grandma Kolsen's house for the night and picked them up on Friday morning, which was Kenzer's birthday. We went to lunch with Ryan, Kristen, Carter, Kami, and Grandma Kolsen. It was so much fun! After that, we headed home to do presents for the birthday girl at our house. She is at such a fun age to open presents! Then, all the mayhem of the next day kicked in as I started to make rolls, salad, soup, cake, and tried to get all the decorations ready for the next day. We had her birthday party at McKinley, since our families are getting so big! It was a lot of fun and it was nice to have the gym for the kids to play in. We had a great weekend. Thanks to our families for coming!

You wouldn't know it from this picture, but Kenzie loved the soup! She had two bowls and a roll and a half! (I guess it is her birthday party, so she can eat what she wants!

 

We were so surprised when my Uncle Rod and Aunt Kim showed up! It was so great to see them!

 

Opening presents! Everyone brought such cute things!! Thanks for the fun presents everyone!

 

You can't be in an elementary school gym without playing Dodgeball! :) I was glad everyone appeased me by playing, because I had tons of fun!!

 

The kids all decided to do a play and here are Cameron, Maddie, and Carter being the "ghosts"!
