Please don't judge me with how overdue this post is! I have been swamped, but it obviously isn't a good excuse any longer since it has now been months! We found out we got our new job at Alpine Academy in Erda, Ut on the 4th of July weekend. It is a treatment center/group home for troubled teenage girls. (Sounds scary, but I absolutely love my job and the girls I have the opportunity to work with!) We started working there at the end of July, but were only working full time and not moving into the apartment they provide in the house until September. During this time, we lived at Dave's parents house in their basement (thanks Bev and Scott!) and drove out to Erda almost every day. It was really hard during the training process and was really stressful on our kids. We ended up moving into our home on September 3rd and have been crazy busy ever since! Here are some pictures of us over the summer and throughout September and October. I hope this will help our family actually know what we are up to and that we are okay! Love you all!

Here we are at Dave's aunt Chris' annual pool party!

Maddie went camping for the first time this summer, even if it was just in the backyard.

Kenzie loves that there are 10 girls in our house now, so there are 10 times more of the birthday cakes.

Maddie started preschool! It was so weird to put her in preschool. She is getting too big!

On one of our days off, we went to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. It was so much fun!

Our Anniversary was on the 8th and even though we worked that day (we had a training for work), it was still great. If I have to work, what better present could I get than working with my hubs?! (This picture was at the Utah State football game we were able to go to with the girls in our house on the 18th of September. The picture of the two of us with our car all decorated was from a couple days before our anniversary. The girls in our house found a weed the size of a tree out in our backyard so they had to decorate it like a Christmas tree and put it on our car, for our anniversary. Nice.)

Here are the girls riding the boats at Lagoon!

And finally, here we are at Lagoon's Frightmares this last Saturday! We had a great time with our little girls and our teenage girls! It was so much fun, but we realized that with 15 people, you need to have more time than just 7 hours. That may sound like plenty, but it wasn't! I love our little girls so much and am so glad they are so patient with us and our new work schedule!
