Dancing

 

Here are some pictures of Miss Maddie's first day of dancing! We got her into Tanglewood Dance Studios once a week. She is really fun to watch, because she gets distracted by herself and everyone else! She does pretty good though and it makes me want to cry that my little girl's old enough to be in dance lessons! Crazy!

I had to blog this picture because it's so funny how everyone else is looking at the teacher and Maddie is looking behind to see herself in the mirror. She is pretty, but a little vain.... Ha ha ha!

 

Here's where Maddie finally got to do her "swirls" that she had been wanting to do so badly! They danced with scarves and she thought it was so fun!

 

Here's one more just for good measure, because this baby is just adorable! Can't leave out my little Benzer!

Madson Family Christmas Party

Okay, so here is the highlight of our Madson party. Jayson and Kassi made Ryan, Dave, and my dad some real life MEATSICLES!! And guess what? They all tried them! Gross!!!!

 

I know I'm a dork, but Ryan got me this cute hat with my other presents! :)

 

"Holy Guacamole!" This is what Carter yelled as he opened the present we gave him! He looked adorable in his cape and mask! :) So cute. He made my day!

 

Maddie got an adorable tea party set that she loves to use with Kenzie. Kenzie pretends to drink from it and Maddie thinks it's hilarious. Silly baby girl, she's too funny!

The Archer Side!!

 

Here are some pictures of the reactions from everyone's presents! We're all so cheesy! We had our Archer family party on the 23rd, woke up and went to the extended Archer family party on Christmas Eve, and then drove home. It was very busy, but very fun!

 

Grandma Archer got some awesome tutus made for the girls, so here they are as great head pieces!

Oh Scott! He had to get shoulder surgery just a little bit before Christmas, so here he is in his sling!

Julie is always cold lately since she is PREGO again! (Yay for another cute neice or nephew!) So, me and Heather just thought we should warm her up!

CHRISTMAS EVE

We had a great Christmas Eve. We drove home from Alpine after Dave's extended family party and went straight into the traditions. We did the bible story, opened pajamas, said prayers, frosted and put out the cookies. We were probably more excited than the kids were this year! Maddie loved that Santa was coming to our house and Kenzie is starting to understand how to open presents. It was an awesome year!

 

Good thing she's pretty, because she thought she could lick all the cookies and that it would be just fine. Gross!

CHRISTMAS MORNING!

Since I'm a huge slacker and can't get pictures of our Christmas up in a timely manner, I apologize for the load of pictures! :) It was so much fun to have two kids to open presents and one that completely understood Santa and what he was going to do!
