Kenzer's Blessing!

Here are some pictures from Kenzie's blessing. My wonderful mother-in-law made her adorable dress! She looked like an angel!

Kenzie looked so beautiful on her blessing Sunday! She was 2 months old exactly and Dave did a GREAT job blessing her. I love hearing how the spirit guides him. It was beautiful! Due to our early 8:30 church, we had kind of a small turn out, but it was great to see our friends and family. We had fun at the brunch afterwards and I really am lucky my mom has such a gorgeous home that she lets us borrow! (My house is WAY too small, so I appreciate it!) Dave's parents, brother, sister, and brother-in-law came to stay the night before which was good so that they didn't have to drive in the snow to get here. We got to eat some good old fashion Mack's Family Drive-In and play some games the night before too, which was way fun! So, thank you to all of you who came and we missed those of you who couldn't come!

One of the many reasons I love Kassi. See how calm Maddie and Carter look? Enough said.

Poor Kristen. So pregnant and getting all jumped on!

This was at the annual UPA puppet show for the kids. They got these really cool monkey and snake puppets. Maddie's snake was biting Kaden's monkey in the picture below. Apparently Dave has watched too many animal planet shows with the girl.

Oh how I love warm weather. I keep telling Dave that he is supposed to move me some place warm all the time.... hot even, I'm not particular. I went last Monday with my dad down to St. George to go watch my brother play baseball and then meet up with Dave that weekend for the Utah Press Association conference. I was so excited to go! Me and the girls do not travel light however, so it was lucky that my dad was driving the truck. My two little brothers decided to come too, which I was REALLY worried about the drive down with all six seats packed and no seperation in between. BUT!! It was great and the boys were really good to help me with my girls. I'm so lucky that they will have such good Uncles in them. (They have great Uncles and Aunts that are all older too, don't be jealous! We're just lucky!) Anyway, Monday we went straight to the game and it was beautiful!!! 80 degrees suites me very well. So, we watched the game and then hung out that night. Tuesday we actually got to see Jayson pitch. It was so fun to see him out there with his crazy "Mandatory Mustache" and all! He pitched 2 great innings and then had to be rotated out with all the other pitchers, but I was just happy to see him play. He's just as good as ever... not fair. So, then we just hung out some more (thank you Ry and Kristen for letting us stay) and went to an awesome place called Pirate Island Pizza. If you are going to St. George with kids sometime soon or even by yourself, let me know and I will tell you how to get there! SO FUN! Maddie looked up at me and said, "Mom, can I go on the pirate ride?" which made me laugh that she remembered the atmosphere from the Pirates of the Carribean ride at Disney. Hilarious. Anyway, they it all decked out with awesome scenery and a fun game area. Thursday Dave and my mom drove down and met up with us and we were checked into our hotel for the weekend. Friday Dave had to attend some classes on newspaper stuff and I got to play with the girls and go shopping. That day we went back to Pirate Island Pizza (yes, it's that fun!) and celebrated Ry's 27th birthday. Yes, he's old and celebrates his birthday in a little kid place, but he loved it. :) That night we had dinner and cake with ice cream to celebrate some more. It was so fun to be with them. I miss my brudders a lot. Jayson had me laughing so hard I was about to pee myself so many times that it made me miss him more. I missed Ry's bear hugs too, he has the best hugs. (Even though I saw him just a couple of weeks ago!) It was also way fun to hang out with the sis-in-laws. Kassi dyed my hair for me and Kristen and I got to spend a lot of fun time with our kids. Then Saturday, we did some more shopping with my child having a major melt down the whole time and causing me some BIG stress! Dave went golfing with my dad and brothers for the UPA tournament. He got the 2nd longest drive in the whole tournament. GOOD JOB, HUN! That night we had the awards banquet. Dave did really well, but I thought he deserved more awards. Oh well. Maddie got picked to draw out a name from the raffle in front of all the people at the banquet (A LOT OF PEOPLE) and then she proceeded to bow and say "thank you, thank you" as she finished. Silly girl. Anyway, it was a whirlwind and I'm happy to be home, but I had SO MUCH FUN!

She likes it, I promise!

My good friend, Lindsey, made the cutest bows for the girls the other day and I've been promising to put pictures of them up. So, here they are!

BOWS!

I made hair bows the other day and ended up making 12 of them.... goodness! So, here are some pictures. I made 2 for each of Maddie and Kenzie's girl cousins (Millie and soon to be Kami) and then I made 3 for Melissa's girls (see next post), then 5 for my girls. Who knew you could make so many bows from just $5.00 worth of stuff and things you have lying around the house?!!
